About NFZ
Not a trainer who learned to dance. A dancer who learned what the body needs.
I'm Nadiah: professional dancer, choreographer and performance coach, with 18 years at the top of hip hop, dancehall and afro. NFZ is the training I wish someone had handed me years ago.
Why NFZ exists
Fit in the gym. Gassed by the second act.
I spent years in the gym and felt physically fit. Then I'd get on stage for a long show and run out of gas by the second act. My cardio didn't match what performing asked of me.
That's when it clicked. Being fit and being ready to dance are not the same thing. The gym had built a body for the gym. Dancing asks for something else: stamina that lasts the whole set, legs that absorb landing after landing, a core that holds you through spins and freezes, and joints that still feel good the next morning.
Your dancing is better than your body lets it be. NFZ closes that gap.
So I built NFZ around what dancers actually need, and around one rule most dance fitness gets wrong.
The method
Don't train like you dance.
When you train a movement that looks like your choreography, your nervous system blends the two, and the gym version quietly corrupts the dance version. Sprinters don't sprint with weights. Swimmers don't copy their stroke with dumbbells.
So NFZ trains the physical qualities, not the moves. Plain, hard, athletic training across 12 areas, built around your biggest gaps. You build the engine in the gym, and the transfer shows up on the floor.
- No hip circles with bands, no footwork drills with weights, nothing that mimics your style
- Personalised from a 12-area diagnostic, so you fix what's actually holding you back
- Measured: test, train, re-test
